AN EXHIBITION INSPIRED BY A SABBATICAL IN NEW YORK CITY, OCTOBER 5-NOVEMBER 23, McCORMICK HALL, CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY CHICAGO
Artist’s Talk & Reception Sunday, October 11, 2:00 PM in McCormick Hall, Concordia University Chicago (directly next to the Gallery) followed by a reception until 4 PM

This is a one-person show of about forty new works of art, all inspired by my sabbatical stay in New York City. But they’re not about New York per se. They are about life and the pulse of the American city and its people, expressed in drawings, mixed-media, and prints. I’ve also stretched into two new media, showing photographs and video for the very first time. These are not your typical over the couch skyline scenes. I hope you can smell the city – any city – in this show and feel the pace, the energy, and truths these works attempt to reveal.
